Supposedly when he was pitched the role, someone put an X-Men comic with Professor X on the cover on the table. Patrick was like "Why am I on the cover of that comic book?" and they responded with "Exactly"

One of the most obvious castings one could make. Not only does he look the part already but he was known for playing a character with similar personality traits.

This sounds extraordinary if true.

Please let Hollywood do something similar when it comes to casting Samus Aran. Just find a natural blonde who just happens to arrive to the audition with a ponytail and hand her a Wii U controller.
