It's not easy for a woman to be sterilized. You have to find a doctor that is willing and not all are. You face dumb questions like "well what if your future boyfriend/husband wants kids?" If you're married, sometimes they make your spouse sign a permission slip like they have any say over your body. Some providers act like you have no agency to decide that you don't want children.
