The problem with possession films (and many other types of horror films) is that the rules are often unclear with the villain's powers. It's hard for me to be afraid when I'm constantly analyzing what a villain is capable of, and if it becomes clear that "reality bending" is the power, I mentally check out, because that's the dumbest shit.
