the universal reception on the first half of 99 Villainess is pretty dividing lol. it'd have worked better if you already didn't know the name of the showI'd probably have just stopped watching before getting to the reveal although honestly it's SO generic that it just seems like it couldn't be true to begin with so I might have skipped ahead in the episode to see whats up. The OP especially feels like a fake visual novel OP. I'd never have believed that was a real anime OP.
