He's actually even worse than Trump, the guy is fully insane. But it's Argentina so the rest of the world likely won't be impacted at all. It's the 2nd largest country in South America and the 4th largest in the Americas
It's the 2nd largest country in South America and the 4th largest in the AmericasUnless he starts a war probably not
It will definitely impact the world

Everything south of Texas in the Americas is third-world anyway.Very much not the case

Unless he starts a war probably notIf he is Trump like, i wouldnt be surprised if we see another Falkland War in the next few years
I already know the answer but I still feel the need to ask: Does "Trump" just mean "bad leader" at this point? Because Javier Milei has nothing substantive in common with Trump/MAGA other than being an underqualified blowhard. Granted, Trump has no policy positions he wouldn't flip on if he felt pressured to but based on his record he has few similar and many opposing policies to Milei.generally refers to a far-right populist. Bolsonaro, Orban, La Pen and Duterte are good examples. People don't say "Elected Another Trump" unless they fit those categories.
is he a Trumplike or a Trumplite
generally refers to a far-right populist. Bolsonaro, Orban, La Pen and Duterte are good examples. People don't say "Elected Another Trump" unless they fit those categories. And the main thing they have in common is that they're abrasive blowhards. Policy-wise there's not much that unites all four of those people and even less if Trump is added.

Like, I'm not trying to be obtuse about this. For example, I know Trump says whack shit about blocking immigrants, which you can bowdlerize into "anti-immigrant" but even that oversimplification doesn't even unite those four politicians since Duterte wasn't specifically anti-immigrant. Not to mention Orban's stance on immigrants being almost irrelevant considering how few go to Hungary anyway. And that same pattern holds for most other stuff: Trump's position is bizarre and changes very easily > oversimplify it into something bordering inaccurate > matches like two other people the American media calls "The Trump of _______" > ignore that it doesn't apply well enough to establish a meaningful category > repeat.
He's actually even worse than Trump, the guy is fully insane. But it's Argentina so the rest of the world likely won't be impacted at all.Their dollar might be, finally, for the better.
There's a weird trend I've noticed of high-karma accounts I've never seen before coming out of nowhere to make one-sentence Trump-praising posts in topics like this. They never stick around to actually engage with the discussion further than that, they just lurk indefinitely, make these half-asses support posts, and slip back into obscurity. It's odd.
