Apparently Flashback 2 is a shit show

Fell off my radar and hadn't heard any buzz prior to it popping up in e-shops this week. They're asking $40. Normally I'll throw money at a game I'm interested in just to check it out but the way this title went radio silent before release struck me funny so I held off. Couldn't find any reviews for days. This is the first one I found lol

It was a semi-liked SNES followup to Out of This World with an inferior Genesis port that, during the Xbox Summer of Arcade, had an absolutely terrible remake (Game Grumps).

This is a sequel to that failure

I enjoyed the first one a billion years ago. Wasn't necessarily eager for a sequel but I would've played it. Not for $40 with that review tho
