We used to play it on school computers when I was in like 5th grade. It was kind of fun to be able to name characters and wait to see if theyd die.

my favorite part was always the hunting mini game. This was before I discovered FPS

I loved that game as a kid and I never got to play it as much as I would have liked back then. This would have been in the early 80's, although apparently the first version of the game came out in 1971 which is crazy.

Yep; definitely had fun with it. It was usually the game I played during computer lab.

There were like 2 or 3 variants of the game floating around in the lab, as the hunting was markedly different on each one.

I can't remember which edition I played; it had these stilted little "cutscenes" with (animated photos of) live actors in cheap costumes.

I think it was on Windows 95

Played it in elementary school in 1990 on those Apple computers. Really miss it.
I love Lord Jesus, Family Matters (for Steve & Laura which I typed up a beautiful alt from Just One Date episode) and FFIX (for Zidane & Garnet).

The weight limit or whatever it was for hunting was stupid. Just make multiple trips.

Back on the old mac yes a few times. Floppy disks etc.
