It has both a Vampire Survivors mode and a more methodical tower-climbing mode. The unique thing here is that you have to set an activation condition attached to a spell, and when the condition is achieved through any means (other spells, same spell, weapon or item hits), the connected spell gains mana towards being automatically cast... and that spell can fulfill conditions for other spells. The synergy you can build is pretty insane

I just saw somebody playing this on Youtube and wishlisted it pretty much immediately. I haven't played the demo, but it definitely looks like something I'll enjoy.

Everything that can hurt you has a purple outline or is entirely purple (or, well, is a trap), so it's more manageable than you'd think. There's a bunch of attacks that are highly telegraphed but only flash purple for a split second before they hit though, so you do still need awareness
