That was okay. Not the best Evil Dead movie, not the worst, probably not the last. It was just okay. There's some good nods to the original Evil Dead movies, and some other horror classics like The Shining. It was more horror than comedy, though it did make me laugh a few times. I was half expecting
A 70 year old Bruce Campbell to show up and save the day.
Probably would have made it a better movie, but I get why they didn't go that route. Some good special effects too, actually it's a pretty good looking movie all around. Gets pretty weird and violent, by the end everyone is just soaked in blood, it's pretty gory.
But yeah, if you haven't seen it, and looking for something to watch, you can do a lot worse.
