Battles had a short set but they played some of my favorites and they played Ice Cream so my son is stoked. Mr Bungle setting up nowOh fuck man. Enjoy. I went so wild during their show in Seattle. It was amazing.
Dunn doesn't get enough credit as a bass player. Dude is incredibleDunn is the ultimate professional musician. It was fun talking to him after the show - he said it's a pain switching between electric bass and upright, as far as switching technique goes. The time before when I last spoke with him, he said he practiced 4 hours a day. This time he said 8, he's fucking hilarious.
Mr Bungle put on a great show. My kid had a blast but he's 9 so he probably just enjoyed being out late on a school night lol
Set list was about what I expected. Mostly Easter Bunny stuff although they did play their Summer Breeze cover - I'd heard they hadn't played it through some of their sets on this tour opting for Spandau Ballet ' True' instead but they played both last night
No Stubb a Dub but they played My Ass Is On Fire as part of their encore followed by a Pepto Bismol jingle mentioning "diarrhea" which delighted my son
Wish Battles set was longer but it was a great night

I'd love to see them live the whole band is incredible but I love the drummer especiallyYes, he's the first I recognized, mostly because it focuses on him. He's incredible. I saw them open for the Louis Cole Big Band but I don't think he was drumming.
I've never seen Snarky Puppy either
