It also has a japanese 17 year old drink beer at every opportunity instead of pulling the classic "yeah I'm a trained assassin thats murdered 500 people but I'm underage so I can't drink" bs.
i mean, they do that trope to show that the person still has some morality leftI'm pretty sure that trope was a bit more legally motivated than that. Probably something to do with age ratings and time slots. Kind of like how in EU you cannot show weapon violence against child characters in game cutscenes (hence the change to the opening of tales of berseria). You can still show children get killed, just not if it's done with a weapon. Looking it up, it does seem to be an age ratings thing.
....how degenerate of me would it be to say the manga I'm looking forward to the most is called "I Was Reincarnated As The Scumbag From a Netorare Manga, But The Heroine is Coming On To Me"? Like it's pretty horny but it's also 90% cute. I've read ahead in the web novel and I cannot state how much I want to see a manga adaptation of this continue
i don't know what girl you're talking about when you say .hackMyne from berserk of gluttony looks like blackrose from .hack. Same skin and hair color with similar hair length and style and similar tribal tattoo mark things. Also both heavy weapon users. Granted, just like the other visual similarities to other characters, their personality is nothing alike.
Mugi is still best girl.I am unfun so my opinion is that there is no best girl. Each girl has had their moments that make the show what it is.
Rewatching AoT and catching up with all I haven't seen yet. I'm halfway through s2 already. It's one of the best things when you find a show that just clicks with you, and you can just watch ep after ep. I've only ever watched the first two seasons, so the rest is all going to be new. Been saving the series for quite some time waiting for it to end.enjoy season 3
I barely remembered anything from before, so rewatching has been a nice treat as well.
I'm usually not so harsh when critiquing.. but this series is shameless unrepentant wish fulfillment masturbation. It's fun to watch at times, but it's, like, everything a stereotypical weeb wishes would happen to them. Average loser gains OP mystic powers along with drip and an eyepatch, gets vicious revenge on everyone who ever wronged him, goes on a rampage against freaking God itself, and has every fucking woman in the series begging for his dick (and of course he prefers the loli).
That was also my opinion until one episode (roughly halfway through in the second season, I believe, but it's been many years) that's pretty much all Mugi, after which Mugi was best girl. Are you talking about the episode where Mugi wants Ritsu to slap her Ritsu tries to get Mugi to do a bunch of ridiculous stuff to get Mio to try and slap her but fails miserably every time even when she tries to steal the strawberry off of Mio's slice of cake leading to the ending where Ritsu is so embarrassed by Mugi's compliment she ends up slapping her off camera?
It is indeed a pretty well-balanced cast, though, with the show's enjoyability hinging more on the chemistry between them than relying entirely on one or two strong personalities to carry it.
enjoy season 3
That said, anyone here read any of the 3d ones?as someone who's read a couple hundred japanese visual novels, Ren'Py 3D visual novels made by westerners for westerners are just really bizarre to me
as someone who's read a couple hundred japanese visual novels, Ren'Py 3D visual novels made by westerners for westerners are just really bizarre to me
i go to visual novels for stuff like samurai in mecha dueling to the death
like the most popular one (that I don't think I can name because it's extremely close to a censor bypass, but it's 95% positive on steam) is about frat life, I don't go to visual novels for that
I also don't like anything I've played from Spike Chunsoft either. I find their games pretty cringey. And from what I understand, they control most of the VN market. That is a wildly inaccurate statement lol. They developed Danganronpa, Zero Escape, 428 which noone remembers, and have been publishing some of the science series (Steins;gate etc) IP for about six years now (I think mostly internationally; MAGES has always been the developer)
