Actually, another poster mentioned she is elastic girl and can kind of change her shape to a degree as she chooses.
Seems a plausible theory that she could be using her powers in that way to give herself the desirable look. Not so easy to keep that thicc look 2 kids and 10 years later...with as little regular exercise as she seemed to get.

Huh? The whole point was elasticgirl could potentially change her figure with her elastic powers...not sure what mr incredible has to do with it. She probably couldn't also change his form?

if elastigirl needs to change her shape to make her not look dumpy after having kids and being middle aged, then how does that explain mr incredible who has looked exactly the same when they met as he does now despite him clearly giving up on himself
