In RPGs, do you usually prefer turn-based combat or real-time combat?

It really depends, I love turn-based gameplay in series like SMT, but I hate the Active battle system some FFs use and I abhor Pokemon's tediously slow gameplay.

I sort of flip flop between liking Turn-based and real time more too, both have their merits and can be either really great or terribly obnoxious depending on different things.
