Pizza Hut tried this twice, with the Triple Decker, and again when they renamed it The Insider. I can safely say that no, pizza does not belong on pizza.
Pizza Hut is more or less known for its dodgy decision-making. All the same, I'm a little sad that there aren't any locations near me any more.
