People go nuts forbit at bars because the lyrics are simple enough to remember while you're wasted. The song is really just annoying once you've heard it enough times though.
I've heard the hate for the Steve miller band on potd before but I love them and their hits are all really good to me, Joker included. I just think he has such a smooth voice and their playing style is so mellow.
I've always considered them a better eagles.
