This happens way more than you think. Definitely ton of corrupt cops making bank and "protecting" young prostitutes and various other things. Corruption is everywhere.
To be fair, prostitution really shouldn't be a crime. What two consenting adults do behind closed doors for money so long as they don't record it and put it on the internet should not be a crime.
