Not really a fair comparison since light ball exists.
This, tbh. When looking at game function, Pikachu has an unfair edge because he's had a few updates to cater specifically to him because he's the mascot and they wanted to make him more viable. Keep in mind that he can also surf.
Oh, plus I just realized that this topic is "Who you do like more?" instead of "Who's best?" so it's an apples-to-bunnies comparison.
